Soft Sand

Description

A very fine sand used where a smooth, non-gritty finish is required. It is commonly used in mortar for brickwork and pointing, providing a buttery consistency that is easy to apply. Its fine nature makes it unsuitable for structural concrete but excellent for decorative masonry and specialized repair work where aesthetic detail is the primary focus.
