Lightweight Concrete

Description

Produced using lightweight aggregates like expanded clay or pumice, this concrete has a much lower density than standard mixes. It is used to reduce the dead load of buildings, for insulating roof layers, and for precast wall panels. Its excellent thermal insulation properties make it popular in energy-efficient building designs.
