Fiber-reinforced Concrete

Description

Concrete containing fibrous material which increases its structural integrity. It includes short discrete fibers that are uniformly distributed and randomly oriented. Fibers (steel, glass, or synthetic) help to control cracking due to plastic shrinkage and drying shrinkage, improving the impact and abrasion resistance of slabs.
